Bubble Tea Sheridan Mississauga

PSB Cafe is excited to now sell Bubble Tea exclusively at Sheridan College Mississauga!  edit

PSB Cafe, in partnership with Super Happy Diamond Slush Co., is excited to now offer Sheridan College students authentic Bubble Tea beverages at its Mississauga campus.

Some of the exciting new flavours include Chai Mango Bubble Tea, Honey Melon Bubble Tea, Strawberry Banana Bubble Tea, all loaded with delicious tapioca and real fruit pearls!

For those who are unfamiliar with Bubble Tea, there are two distinct types; tea with milk and tea without milk in in them. Black, Oolong, and Green in combination with fruits and tapioca pearls are all common flavours and options for fans of this tasty drink. This Asian inspired beverage can be served both cold and hot, although cold is by far the most popular.

Although popular in Asian markets and amongst Asian-Americans, this tasty drink has gained a large amount of popularity and attention over the last decade amongst people of all backgrounds.

Bubble Tea first became popular in most parts of East and Southeast Asia during the early 90’s, primarily in Vietnam. Bubble Tea is well received by non-domestic consumers in Canada and The United States, especially around areas with high concentrations of Chinese and Taiwanese populations. In parts of San Fransisco, California, bubble tea is a very popular beverage consumed and enjoyed amongst individuals of all backgrounds. The Jollibee franchise (a popular Filipino chain) is also a well known distributor of Bubble Tea. Bubble Tea has gained cultural significance outside of Taiwan in some of the major areas of the Asian continent.

Now that we’ve gotten a slice of history on this popular and delicious beverage, we as students (both domestic and international) can appreciate and enjoy Bubble Tea to the absolute fullest with warm weather and summer around the corner!
