Vinyoga – the newest yoga program at PSB Fitness

Ladies, are you looking for a yoga workout that is challenging and mentally stimulating at the same time? Do you want a way to relieve your stress after a long day of hard work?  Good news, there is a new Vinyasa yoga stress relief program in town, exclusively for women called Vinyoga. We are calling all women who are passionate about trying new things that promote a healthy, active lifestyle.

What is Vinyoga All About?

Vinyoga is a new Vinyasa yoga program, located in two convenient places in Brampton and Mississauga at the new PSB Fitness Centers in Sheridan College.  The program runs from Monday-Friday at 9 AM and 5 PM every day, so whether you prefer a morning workout, or an after-work exercise to end the day on a positive note, the choice is yours. We encourage both new and experienced yogis to join us for an hour-long session of concentration, balance, flexibility, and meditation. Vinyoga is in addition to 2 of our other heath and wellness programs we are offering at PSB fitness—Zumba and Bootcamp. Check out each program and compare to see which one is right for you!

 

Free Trials for New Members

Many people find a passion for yoga after only trying it a few times, which is why Vinyoga is offering 3 free trials to new members who want to come and see what we’re all about before committing to a membership.  After the free trials, a membership will cost only $20 per month, and PSB Fitness members will receive 20% off memberships. The membership can be cancelled at any time with no cancellation fee. All members must sign a waiver form prior to their first session for legal reasons.

 

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower women to take part in trying something new that is out of their comfort zone. Vinyasa yoga—commonly referred to as “flow yoga” is one of the best yoga styles for beginners because it provides all the fundamental poses for yoga. The poses are held for a moment, and then switched to another pose in an almost dance-like fashion. Vinyasa yoga helps realize the impermanence of things in life when you are switching from each pose. This type of yoga focuses on using the breath as a guide to help move effortlessly between poses. Vinyasa yoga provides a cardio workout that is fast pace and will surely get your heart pumping. Each session is unique and offers different poses and techniques.

This program is available to women of all ages. Vinyoga is only for women because we want our members to feel comfortable to fully express themselves. We wish to provide an inspiring and safe place for women to workout. Yoga has many benefits for women including: reducing PMS symptoms, improving sex life, and helping with symptoms of anxiety. We encourage women to bring their friends along to this yoga experience to create a social and enjoyable session.

 

What Does Vinyoga Provide?

Our certified yoga instructors are passionate about vinyasa yoga and are looking to help women achieve their health and fitness goals through yoga. Our instructors have worked in the industry for over 10 years and have loads of knowledge when it comes to stress relief and creating a healthy mind.

 

Yoga Facilities

The classes are held in the PSB Fitness gym where we have lots of natural lighting and beautiful brick walls, perfect for a relaxing yoga session. We use an essential oils diffuser to create a calming mood and receive the aromatic benefits.

Ready to do some yoga? Pack up your yoga mat and head over to PSB Fitness at Sheridan College! Don’t have a yoga mat? Not a problem! We have all the yoga accessories you need including mats, blocks, and knee pads. All accessories are sanitized thoroughly before and after each use to ensure there is no spread of bacteria. We also have a water bottle filling station for reusable bottles with a drinking fountain for those rough days when you forget a water bottle. After each session we provide yogis with a healthy, light snack to compliment their yoga practice.
